Cooper Tires
Cooper Tires was started in 1914 in Akron, Ohio by two brothers-in-law, John F. Schaefer and Claude E. Hart. The business originally focused on tire repair and rebuilding, but they now manufacture tires for vehicles ranging from passenger cars to commercial trucks.
Dunlop
Founded in 1888 by John Boyd Dunlop, this company originated when Dunlop created the first pneumatic rubber tire that offered a smoother ride than the solid rubber tires that used to be so common. Dunlop now creates tires of all kinds throughout the world.

General Tires
Founded in 1915 by William O’Neil and Winfred E. Fouse in Akron, Ohio, the General Tire and Rubber Company immediately focused on producing quality replacement tires. In 1955 they entered the passenger car original equipment (OE) tire market and now produce tires for a range of vehicles.
Gislaved Tires
Gislaved Tires was founded in 1893 by Carl and Wilhelm Gislow. They began assembling rubber products in Gislaved, Sweden in 1905 and became the OE equipment manufacturer for Volvo in 1927. They are a subsidiary of Continental, AG and create summer and winter tires.
Goodride Tires
Since 1958, Goodride has manufactured a complete line of tires for a variety of uses. All of their tires are manufactured according to worldwide market requirements and backed by a customer satisfaction guarantee. Their tires combine superior design, low rolling resistance and greater fuel efficiency.
Goodyear Tires
Frank Seiberling founded the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio in 1898. Originally, the company only had thirteen employees, and began producing bicycle and carriage tires. In 1908 they supplied Henry Ford with racing tires, and by 1926 they were the world’s largest rubber company. They produce tires for a range of vehicles and are the largest tire manufacturer in the world.
